Well. It is confession time people. I know most of you have just moved on from Halloween and have maybe started planning your Thanksgiving dinner menu. I have given a teeny thought to Thanksgiving. I mean enough thought to make this warm salad and plan a giveaway for you guys. I also might bring a dessert to my in-laws dinner. My normal go-to is this cheesecake pie. You know how there are those certain comfort foods that just make you think of a lil cute and sassy grandma cooking and slaving away in a kitchen all day? Biscuits of any kind are one of those foods for me.

I feel like I need to title this post mental health Monday instead because I need a mental health day. I remember in my working outside of the home days, every so often I just needed a day off to regroup. I called those mental health days. You can’t really take a mental health day from a baby. No days off in parenting.
This weekend just went by way too fast. I love when I have productive Sundays. Getting out and doing stuff on Sunday makes me feel like a good member of society. But, on the other hand, it also makes me feel like I wish I could have soaked up as much of that pajama-wearing weekend time while I had the chance before Monday reared its ugly head. [Read more…]
