Baked Leftover Turkey and Swiss Sliders

Swiss cheese and leftover Thanksgiving turkey sliders covered in garlic, horseradish, and rosemary butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 2 Pounds Thick Cut Turkey Breast
  • 12 Dinner Rolls
  • 1/4 Cup Spicy Whole Grain Mustard
  • 12 Slices of Swiss Cheese

For the butter:

  • 3 Tablespoons Salted Butter melted
  • 1 Clove of Garlic minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Minced Fresh Rosemary
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Grated Horseradish
  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Slice each dinner roll in half width wise.
  3. Arrange the bottom buns on a 9x13-inch baking dish or jelly roll pan. Lay out about 2 slices of turkey on each bottom bun. Follow up with a slice of Swiss cheese.
  4. Spread about a half a teaspoon of spicy mustard on the inside of each top bun. Cover the turkey and cheese half with the top bun.
  5. Add the butter to a small microwave safe bowl. Heat for a few seconds until the butter melts.
  6. Mix in the black pepper, horseradish, garlic, ground mustard, sesame seeds, and rosemary to the butter.
  7. Use a silicone brush to brush the butter mixture over each bun.
  8. Cover the slider dish loosely with tin foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake the sliders for 10 more minutes.
  9. Serve sliders slightly cooled.
