Ingredients
4Strips of Baconcut in half
1Roll/Canister of Crescent Roll Dough
1Bartlett Pear
1, 7ozBrie Cheese Wedge
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a medium cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Add the cut strips of bacon to a skillet. Cook over medium high heat for three minutes. This will help the bacon crisp up easier in the oven. Remove bacon from pan and add to a paper towel to drain off some of the fat.
While the bacon cooks, slice 8 1/4 inch thick slices of brie cheese. Remove the rind. Also slice the pear into 16 thin half moon slices.
Roll out the crescent roll dough on the parchment paper lined baking sheet. Separate each triangle along the perforations. Add a slice of bacon to the triangle of dough. Top with brie cheese slice. Roll the brie inside the crescent dough. Before you do the final roll of the point of the triangle, tuck two thin slices of pear on top of the roll. Firmly pull the triangle over the pear slices and seal under the roll.
Continue that process until all 8 rolls are prepared.
Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden.
Let cool until the cheese has set a bit and then add to a towel lined serving bowl.
