Kimchi Turkey Burgers

Spicy, juicy, and crispy turkey burgers with all the spice and flavor of kimchi!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Kimchi
  • 1 Pound Lean Ground Turkey
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic grated
  • Zest of 1 Lime
  • 4-6 Burger Buns or Green Leaf Lettuce
  • Avocado
  • Tomato
  • Pickled Banh Mi veggies
  • Sriracha Mayo

Instructions

  1. Add the kimchi to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Add the ground turkey, chopped kimchi, sesame seeds, salt, pepper, sesame oil, cilantro, garlic, and lime zest to a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to mix the meat until it is evenly incorporated.
  3. Form into 1/3 cup patties. Place on a foil lined baking sheet.
  4. Turn the broiler on high with a rack in the middle of the oven.
  5. Place the baking sheet under the broiler for 4 minutes per side until deeply golden and crisp. Internal temp should be over 160 degrees F.
  6. Assemble the burgers with sriracha mayo, avocado, pickled veggies, lettuce, and tomato on top of the burger.
