Did you guys see this cute April Fool’s Day prank? It was probably my favorite.  This was Mike’s favorite. I like good hearted and funny pranks. However, I also like some of those sucky-for-the-person-it-is-happening to pranks. In college, we used to switch entire contents of peoples closets, dump ice water on people in the shower, and pelt people with water balloons as they walked to their cars in the sorority parking lot. Yeah, we were kind of dicks.

We knew the pranking had to stop when showering to get ready for the day became a paranoid affair. I figured out that if is contorted myself and stood up against the far back corner of the shower stall I could mostly avoid the ice water. Thank God the prank days were short lived. Today is a special day in the Sarcastic Cooking family! My younger brother, Nick, is turning the big 3-0! Having just turned this wonderful age last year, I know what a big deal this birthday is. In true Nick fashion, we are going to celebrate by making and eating spicy chicken wings!

I don’t know if I have maybe led on to this before, but I am really not a chicken kind of girl. I am a literal chicken, yes. You can ask my brothers about that one! When we were kids, my younger brothers both jumped off the top of the monkey bars one afternoon. I stood up there until dinner time scared out of my mind but convinced that I was going to jump. Oh, dorm life. It had its ups and downs. Um, downs for sure were sharing living quarters with somebody who had a serious boyfriend.
