Apple Butter BBQ Pork Chops

Super tender, smoky, and sweet fall inspired pork chops.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt and Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • 4-6 Thin Cut Bone In Pork Chops
  • 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Apple Butter
  • 4-6 Sprigs of fresh Thyme

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil over medium/high heat in a large skillet.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Add pork chops to the hot oil. Sear for 4 minutes on first side then flip.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine vinegar, bbq sauce, and apple butter. Mix to evenly combine.
  4. Cover chops with the sauce mixture, add in the thyme, and cover skillet with a lid.
  5. Reduce heat to low and cook the chops for 60-75 minutes until fall off the bone tender. Remove lid and cook on medium until the sauce reduces.
