Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. It’s not Monday anymore. Saaahhhhhhrry! Between the little babymoon Mike and I took this weekend and the severe head cold that has it’s grips on me right now, this post got pushed into the “worry about it later” category. In over three years of blogging I have never posted a recipe for this soup! Whaaaaa?!?!?! Can you believe it? I know, I know, every food blog out there has a similar or different recipe for this soup. I had to throw my hat into the ring too.

As I watch buttloads of snow fall, I have a few choice words for Miss Mother Nature right now. I wanna tell you something! This is too little too late! Where was all this fluffy beautiful snow on Christmas? Don’t you know people have to get back to their lives after New Years? Ugh! Seriously.
I have never hosted a holiday. I have always wanted to though. I have hosted the occasional post-college Halloween party or we-think-now-that-we-have-real-jobs-we-are-adults dinner party.
