Today was the first day of school for the kiddos.

My youngest is now at school full day.

Cue all the tears.

Despite the start of the school year, summer weather is still in full swing.

Seems like the cruelest joke, right?

I hope to keep summer going forever with loaded everything burger fries.

It is not a cheese fry recipe.

Call me crazy, but I really don’t “like” cheese on my burgers, so I didn’t add cheese to my burger fries.

Feel free to add cheese sauce if you want. I really like this one.

These fries have so many toppings that they really don’t need cheese, per se.

Toppings for Burger Fries | Sarcastic Cooking

What’s on the loaded everything burger fries?

  • Diced Dill Pickles
  • Shredded Lettuce
  • Diced White Onion
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • My Special Secret Burger Sauce
  • Browned, Crumbled, Beef Burger Patties (with all the seasoning)

This recipe would not be burger fries without the burgers.

I always end up with 1-2 leftover, frozen burger patties and no buns.

You do too, don’t you?

I crumbled up the beef patties and cooked them in a pan until browned.

Burger Meat Blend | sarcastic Cooking

The beef is seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ground mustard, salt, and pepper.

The seasoning blend allows for flavor in every topping on these fries.

That’s going to go on the fries. Duh.

The French fries can either be baked of fried on stovetop according to the frozen fry packaging instructions.

Fries are just a vehicle for the burger toppings.

Let’s talk about the secret sauce!

Secret Burger Sauce Ingredients | Sarcastic Cooking

What’s in the secret sauce?

  • Mayonnaise
  • Pickle Juice
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Yellow Mustard
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Relish

That may seem like a lot, but this sauce acts as the cohesive item that brings all the toppings together.

You will also find yourself adding this sauce to burgers, fries, hot dogs, and brats.

Trust me. It is good!

Cooked, frozen French fries topped with well-seasoned ground, burger patties, all the toppings, and a secret burger sauce.

Ingredients

  • Burger Meat:
  • 2 Frozen and Thawed Beef Burger Patties
  • 1 tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Secret Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Pickle Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tsp BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Relish
  • For the Fries:*
  • 1lb Frozen French Fries
  • Diced Dill Pickle
  • Diced White Onion
  • Diced Tomato
  • Shredded Lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven or a large pot of oil to the temperature listed on the frozen fry packaging. While the oil/oven heats, prep the secret sauce.
  2. Add the ingredients for the secret sauce to a medium mixing bowl. Whisk to combine. Set off to the side in the fridge for later.
  3. Heat a medium, non-stick skillet over medium/high heat. Add the oil. Once the oil is shimmering, add the beef patties. Season with salt, pepper, mustard, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Use a wooden spatula to break apart the meat and distribute the seasonings. Cook for about 12-15 minutes until browned. Drain grease as needed.
  4. While the beef is browning cook the fries until golden and crisp.
  5. Prep your desired toppings. Set on a cutting board off to the side.
  6. Once the fries and beef are cooked, plate the meal. Add a large handful of fries to a plate. Top with beef and then drizzle the secret sauce all over the fries and beef. Add lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and pickle to the fries. Top with a little more sauce and a little ground black pepper.

Notes

This is a fork and knife kind of meal for me.

*Some of my other favorite toppings are a sprinkle of Everything Bagel Seasoning or some spicy Giardiniera or pickled jalapeƱo peppers.
