Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soup

Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soup | Sarcastic Cooking

Oh, dorm life. It had its ups and downs. Um, downs for sure were sharing living quarters with somebody who had a serious boyfriend. Weekend nights when said boyfriend came to visit, uh-uh, if you know what I mean. On the upside, all of your meals are within walking distance and all the money you ever needed for food was on a little plastic card that didn’t come out of your pocket!!!!

College life was simpler. [Read more…]

BBQ Chicken and Corn Fritters | Sarcastic Cooking

Every day you guys come here and read my little tidbits about myself and my little life. I feel like you hear about me, my brothers, my Mom, Weezer, and Andy all the time but you don’t really hear too much about the man behind the blog, Mike.

Well, scratch that, you do hear about him occasionally. The stories about him are usually about his hatred for tomatoes or about something weird/infuriating that he did. [Read more…]

I am sharing one of my favorite enchilada recipes, sweet corn and jalapeno! These are totally doable on a busy weeknight and would also be a quick showstopper if you have guests over for dinner.

So, hop on over to Girl versus Dough and check out the recipe and my “sage” words of advice for new moms.

I also told you that Mike haaaates hearing about my dreams and nightmares, but I have to talk it through with somebody and sometimes, I can’t wait until later in the day to relay my dreams to the other person in this world that reads as much into her dreams as I do, my mom.

I mean if you were adopted by Jay-Z and Beyoncé, wouldn’t you want to talk about it? And, furthermore, who wouldn’t want to hear about that dream? [Read more…]
