Well, in the matter of a week, we are in the midst of fall, people, that is until October hits and we end up back in the 80’s for a week. Isn’t that how it always is though? Since we are better friends here, I will quit with the small talk about the weather.

A change in seasons always makes me want to do heavy duty cleaning and rearranging. Mike is a huge fan of this quality about me. He is the one who does all the heavy lifting all around here so you better believe he looooves this quality about me. Over the weekend we completely rearranged our living room and front room area. Confession: I just mistyped the word popper like three times. I think I have been seeing too many dirty diapers and poop is just on my brain. Sorry. Mom life!

Let’s talk peppers. Mike and I handle heat differently. I can handle a habanero pepper but sometimes jalapenos with the seeds still in them kick my butt. Mike cannot at all tolerate a habanero pepper but loves jalapenos. The seedier the better. I do not get it. [Read more…]

Happy Friday! Today my friend Jennie is posting for me. Her blog is marvelous. I know, I say that about all my guest bloggers. But, I totally mean it! You think I would pick some rag tag group of bloggers to take over my blog while I am away-ish? Pfff! No way.

I read A LOT of other blogs. Not only do I enjoy supporting my peers, but I also love to read and delve into the lives of these creative people. It is inspiring and also entertaining. Most times I read Jennie’s blog and I think to myself, “I wish we lived closer because we would sooooo be real life, hang out all the time, friends.” I read stories about how she and her husband interact and I can relate and often have gone through a similar situation or incident with Mike.
