Let me preface this with, NO I AM NOT PREGNANT!!! Ok, now that we got that out of the way, lemme tell you all about my latest cravings.

PS if Chrissy Teigen can write two cookbooks called Cravings and not get questioned constantly about the possibility of being pregnant, why can’t us bloggers too?

Seriously, any time I post on Instagram about not feeling well, the onslaught of pregnancy questions start flowing.

I know I open myself up to these questions since I put myself, my kids, and our lives out there on the daily. But can’t a girl just have a stomach bug and NOT want to give you all the gory details but still explain at the same time why I am not on the ‘gram?

Phew. Rant over. Sorry.

Back to my cravings.

Jalapeño peppers and all things spicy. Normally Mike is the one that is all about the spicy food. Not anymore friends.

Pickled jalapeños on everything. Extra red pepper flakes on everything. I would say hot sauce on everything, but I just ran out of my love, Valentina.

If you are like me, and into the spicy foods, then this pizza is for you. Remember those homemade roasted red peppers from the weekend? (Click HERE for the link). Well, we take some of those and make a romesco sauce.

Romesco sauce is basically like a spicy red pepper pesto. It was made to be put on a pizza.

My dad’s last garden haul gave me tons of fresh jalapeño and cayenne peppers. I ended up pickling half the jalapeños and then using the rest on pizzas or in pico de gallo.

I added in everybody’s favorite hybrid cheese, burrata, to calm all that pepper spiciness. If you are still, after all these years, intimidated by make your own homemade pizza dough, this combo would also translate very well to na’an, flatbread, or even a French bread pizza.
