The best Bloody Caesar is simply made with good vodka, Clamato juice, Worcestershire sauce, and a little bit of hot sauce. It’s easy and is the perfect brunch cocktail or hangover cure.
A Bloody Mary is one of my favorite brunch cocktails. On the other hand, so is a mimosa. Call me fickle.
Sometimes a straight up Bloody Mary can be a little too spicy for me. The last thing my old, hungover body needs is heartburn.
Let’s be honest.
I love the salty and spicy kick from a Bloody Caesar.
A Bloody Caesar is originally from Canada. It is made with Clamato juice as a base for that Caesar-ish anchovy-like taste. Mix in hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and vodka. Garnish with a nice, crisp celery stalk.
Don’t forget to rub a wedge of lime over the rim of the glass. That will allow the celery salt to stick nicely.
Thinking back now, I may have to change my answer to my fave brunch cocktail.
I found a ton of Bloody Mary recipes in my blog archives. I made everything from Bloody Mary roasted potatoes to a green Bloody Mary (Maria Verde).
My favorite drink at brunch is hands down a Bloody Mary.
I also love a good beer back on the side to cut through all that thick tomatoyness.
Yep. That’s totally a word.
I figured this is the best recipe to kick the new year off. It has just what you need to get going and get over all the things you did (or drank too much of) in 2019.
